Mission / Principles

Read the bar.
See the system.

The Chocolate Atlas is an independent educational guide to cacao, craft, flavor, origins, and the choices behind every bar.

We built the museum we wanted to visit: beautiful enough to wander, rigorous enough to trust, and generous enough to open every door.

What we believe

Flavor deserves context. Beginners deserve precision without gatekeeping. Makers deserve thoughtful comparison. Farmers deserve to appear as more than scenery in somebody else’s origin story.

01

Educational only

The Atlas explains; it does not provide health, legal or investment advice.

02

Independent

No placement or brand description is sponsored. Inclusion is not endorsement.

03

Local-first

Journal entries, progress and theme preferences stay in your browser. The core works without an account or reader database.

04

Evolving

Chocolate knowledge and supply-chain evidence change. Sources and claims should be reviewed regularly.
